At the invitation of Department of Nuclear Medicine of Tongji Hospital,Professor Zhen CHENG of Molecular Imaging Center at Stanford University delivered a wonderful speech with the theme of Biomedical Applications of Cerenkov Luminescence Imaging in the Academic Communication Center on July 28th in the Academic Communication Center in Tongji Hospital.

Professor Cheng gave a full explanation on his team's leading discovery of using radionuclide into optic image, landing solid foundation of the applications of Cerenkov Luminescence Imaging as a kind of new molecular imaging model in biomedicine. Hundreds of teachers and students attended the lecture and made deep and warn communication with Professor Cheng. The audiences were from the related departments in Tongji Hospital, Wuhan Union Hospital, School of Life Science and Technology of HUST, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, Jianhan University, Hubei Cancer Hospital, the Central Hospital of Wuhan and so on.
