TANG Zhouping, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology.

He is responsible for Optical Campus, information construction, hospital-run industrial company (Zhiyin Company excluded) and Proton Therapy Center.

He is a CPC member, M.D., Ph.D., second-tier professor, chief physician, doctoral supervisor. He served as Executive Vice President of Optical Valley Branch of Tongji Hospital, President of Mobile Field Hospital of China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Center. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Committee of Hemorrhagic Stroke of National Stroke Center, member of the 8th Committee (Infectious Diseases and Cerebrospinal Fluid Cytology Group) of the Neurology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Deputy Director of Neurorestoratology Professional Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Director of the Chinese Stroke Society, Deputy Chairman of the Stroke Prevention and Control Committee of Hubei Preventive Medicine Association, and Deputy Chairman of the Neurology Branch of Wuhan Medical Association. He presides 7 key projects and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. As the first author, he won the first prize of Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019. He has published more than 300 papers, of which over 80 being SCI papers. He is the editor-in-chief of Emergency Neurology and the journal Brain hemorrhages, and the associate editor of Minimally Invasive Therapy of Hypertensive Intracerebral Hemorrhage, Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Neurological Diseases (3^rd Version).
